RACE INFORMATION
Join the Maryland Triathlon Club on Sunday, April 28, 2019 for the Terrapin Triathlon & 5K! Race the triathlon by yourself, sign up for a triathlon relay, or run the 5K. We welcome athletes of all levels; beginners can take advantage of the pool swim and looped bike course, while veterans can use the race as a tune-up for the upcoming season. Take advantage of the only triathlon hosted on the University of Maryland campus and sign up today!

5:15 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.: Race day packet pickup
6:45 a.m.: Race briefing (Location: pool deck)
7:00 a.m.: First swimmer enters the water
8:00 a.m: 5K start
8:30 a.m.: Final swimmer enters water
9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.: Post-race party
10:00 a.m.: Awards ceremony

The 2019 Terrapin Triathlon & 5K will take place on and around the University of Maryland campus in College Park, MD.
Swim: 400 meters
Run: 5K on trails and sidewalks
Swim: 400 meters

- Time trial start (one racer starts every 10 seconds)

Bike Course (exact route posted closer to race day)
The bike course will be 3 laps.
Out Wellness Way, Left onto Regents, Right on Paint Branch, Right on Campus Dr, Left on Alumni Drive, cut over and right on Championship Lane, through lot 1D, up Presidential Drive, down Fieldhouse Dr, left onto Alumni Drive, around the circle to Stadium Drive, left on Valley drive, right on Farm drive, left on Regents drive
Run Course (exact route posted closer to race day)
Across bridge to Terrapin Trail Garage, down path in front of Xfinity, sidewalk of Regents Drive, cross Paint Branch Dr, onto Paint Branch Trail, turn around, back up to Paint Branch, over to Regents Drive, up Wellness Way, up path to SPH, finish in front of Eppley
